The Human Resources Department for Emergency Management falls under the direction of the Human Resources Director for the Board of County Commissioners.

The Human Resources Department strives to provide effective personnel services through the development, implementation, and equitable administration of policies and procedures; recruit qualified personnel; maintain a well-trained work force; and foster productivity, innovation, and a climate of success in the workplace.

The Department recruits new employees and works to retain existing employees, maintains personnel records, coordinates employee benefits and enforces personnel policies.
